This is one of the most absurd things that I’ve ever read. A rape victim is banned from using the words “rape”, “victim” and “sexual assault” at the trial prosecuting her alleged assailant. This is ridiculous, how is she supposed to describe what happened to her in plain English.

I’m not a tree hugging hippie or much of an environmentalist at all, but I’m also not stupid. This is genuinely scary, a Texas sized garbage heap floating in the Pacific Ocean. Doing my completely random web surfing today, I stumbled across an article about “The Great Pacific Garbage Patch” and it really scared me. I’m not sure I can add anything new to what has already been written about it but I think more people need to know and something needs to be done now.
