Using The Public Library Saves Money

The public library is just a few miles from my house but I haven’t stopped in for several months and decided to go this morning. My sister is having a hard time dealing with the recent passing of her husband and I am feeling totally inadequate in meeting her need for support as she goes through this difficult time.
I thought about going to the bookstore and buying a couple of books on grief and loss, but then it occurred to me that it would better to go to the public library first and see if they have anything on the subject. This is probably not the kind of book that I would read a second or third time, and it doesn’t make sense to buy a book that you’ll only read once and then never look at again.
