Sunday Paper Stinks

This weekend is nothing special. No big holiday to stimulate retail sales, no major events in town. Just another boring weekend of cold weather and watching the Titans lose another football game. So I decided to buy the Sunday newspaper and see if there was anything of note in the paper.
The cost of the paper has gone up to $1.75, although every once in a while you can find a drug store doing a special promotion where they only charge 99 cents. But for that $1.75 you get a very thin paper with almost no news locally written news stories, lots of opinion and advice from nationally syndicated writers, and a stack of the same old boring retail store advertisements with a few grocery coupons.
It was not worth the $1.75. I can get much better news from the internet and TV.
