Just Talk
By Ed. Filed in Life, Technology |MY son called to check in this evening from college. They arrived Tuesday night, safe and sound, and he has been busy getting signed up for everything. He will be living off campus this year, sharing a condo with two of his buddies.
One of his roommates has helped him discover the world of free chat lines. They have local phone connection and don’t burn up any minutes on their cell phone when they call the free phone chat line numbers and talk for hours.
He says he spent over an hour last night just listening to dozens of greetings, then switched over to one on one phone chat with a girl from Chattanooga. He likes the way you can flirt or get to know the other person from the privacy of his room without worrying about being in a noisy bar or spending money on beers that he doesn’t want to drink in the first place.
All of his roommates have decided to go out on the town this weekend and maybe even meet some local girls, but then they will have to settle down to study and get a good start on their classes. Good grades are even more important this year, and I’m glad to hear he plans to take it very seriously.
