Rape victim cannot refer to self as “victim”

This is one of the most absurd things that I’ve ever read. A rape victim is banned from using the words “rape”, “victim” and “sexual assault” at the trial prosecuting her alleged assailant. This is ridiculous, how is she supposed to describe what happened to her in plain English.
