When we first moved to Nashville we drove down Music Row and took in all the city sights like the rest of the tourists. One of the things I noticed about Music Row was that all these recording studios were in little old houses and not in big fancy high rise buildings. In fact, there is only one so-called high rise on music row, the former United Artists Tower, which is 9 stories high and the only building allowed that high since the zoning was changed to restrict building height.
Another building that caught my attention was a place to produce cassette tapes, CDs and DVDs. But it turns out that they closed down and Nashville does not actually produce a lot of the media. It is often less expensive to find a CD Replication Service someplace out of town.
