Too Long Grammys

Watched the Grammy Awards Show tonight. There were a lot of performers getting a few moments of the spotlight. Nashville was well represented in the winners circle. One of my favorite moments was the show by Pink. That woman is HOT!
I think the show was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too long. I could have done without a lot of the lame jokes and boring stiff commentary. Some of the awards could have been mentioned in shorter moments that didn’t hog air time.And why were those actors brought into this show? Aren’t there plenty of musicians who would have done a great job on stage reading cues?
It got really boring at the end when they started bringing out rap and hip hop people who I have no idea who they are. Would it kill the show producers to run a little scrolling line at the bottom of the screen with the names of the people on stage? I have no idea who most the blacks were, but to be honest, I don’t even care enough to try to look up any of them either. I don’t like rap and hip hop music – it is disrespectful to women and encourages our young people to do drugs, commit crimes and live an irresponsible life. That should not even be allowed on the radio – it is just wrong to have our young people influenced by this crap.
