Welcome 2009!

I don’t know about you but I’m sure glad that 2008 is gone and 2009 is here. There was not much about 2008 that I liked or enjoyed.
One of the few good things last year was a rare concert at the Ryman Auditorium that was part of the annual Americana Music conference and convention in September. The concert featured a star studded cast with lots of surprise walk-on guest musicians and we lucked into the most awesome seats – 4th row left stage. We sat next to Peter Frampton and across from Steve Earle. I can’t tell you how many celebrities walked past us on their way to their own seats. It was awesome.
Other than that – you can bury 2008 with the other stinkin garbage and let’s just forget about it.
